Positive tools for living and training
Positive tools for living and training means MillsPoint Goods is committed to creating practical items for canines & humans to support their work together, grow their relationship, and have fun.
Rustic linen is an eco-friendly, durable material used for our Made-to-Order vests, aprons, & bags. Each item has many pockets. Pocket treats for humans and canines fit in the largest pockets. In zipper pockets secure keys, phone, or other valuables. Smaller pockets are perfect for the necessary poo bags. Please contact me to order.
Use MillsPoint Goods leashes, collars, and longlines for living & training safely. Made with USA Biothane, these products come in many colors & strap widths. USA Biothane is a strong, flexible, no-rot-no-mold, no-stink, easy-to-clean, leather-like material. Generally, longlines are 1/2 or 5/8 inch wide straps. Leash strap width is either 1/2, 5/8, or 3/4 inch. Most customers find 1/2 or 5/8 inch wide straps comfortable for longlines & leashes. Choice of width depends on what feels right in your hand. Buckle collars can be 5/8, 3/4, or 1 inch. All strap widths are strong enough for working with canines, so choose what feels good to you!
MillsPoint Goods can make your leash, collar, or longline any width or length combination. Some training situations call for 35 feet long. Other training situations work best if there is no loop for human hand on the end. Some people prefer the wider 3/4 inch strap. Our standard leashes are six feet long. Adjustable leashes can be shortened to just over three feet.

IMPORTANT NOTE note: USA Biothane longlines and leashes are not chew-proof and should never be used as a tie-down or tie-out. The Humane Society resource page notes that tethering or chaining a dog outside is not a good practice. In some states it is illegal. If you need help keeping a canine safe when alone, or learning to settle when you are together, please consult a local positive reinforment trainer. You will both have fun and improve your life together!
